They also shadowed experienced colleagues for a month and completed assignments to enhance their teaching skills.

Advanced HE Fellowship Support: We offered tailored coaching and workshops to help staff with fellowship applications, from selecting the right fellowship to refining their personal statements. 

Why It Matters 

Our Centre for Academic Practice Development (CAPD), led by Prof. Ian Luke and Dr Elena Carruba, is dedicated to enhancing teaching quality and fostering a vibrant academic community. This workshop is just one of many initiatives aimed at supporting our staff’s professional growth.
